Account/Project Manager

Hello, we are Big-Amsterdam. A creative agency, built for today’s world. We are looking for a new addition to the team, a Project Manager who is ready for a role which is more customer focused, or An Account Manager who is looking for a new challenge and is not afraid to take on the project management aspects. We give you a lot of freedom and independence at Big Amsterdam. However, with this comes responsibility. We are a full-service creative agency that gets people and brands moving. We would like to get in touch with someone who is intrinsically motivated to acheive the best for both client and agency, a motivated Account Aanager who can independently put projects on the road to success.

In this fun role, you will work closely with the Client Service Director, taking the lead in managing commercial projects and building on existing customer relationships. You work with the creative team, production, designers and, if necessary, with our colleagues in London. You have a broad overview of campaign and account management, including idea generation, cost and timeline management, liaising with and collaborating with third party vendors, and managing creation and production. Our customers range from SMEs to leading Dutch and international brands. All this with an interesting mix of creative work, campaign management and performance marketing.

1. Account management
– Responsibility for project and customer output
– Collaborate with internal and external relations, including project managers, designers and agency partners.
– Take responsibility for planning and managing internal workloads
– You take responsibility for delivering effective campaigns across multiple channels with tight deadlines and within budget
– Effective communication about deliverables and ongoing campaigns across the agency
Building good relationships with your colleagues, the various departments, suppliers and expertise teams in London / Newbury and Bath. (the other locations of Big Group).
Realize project deadlines and keep your colleagues smiling.

2. Customer Management
– Building customer relationships and identifying opportunities to make our customers even better.
– Managing existing relationships and formulating briefings together with the customer to create the best work for the customer together with your other colleagues.
– Confidently conduct meetings, give presentations and report on the success of the integrated campaigns we create together.
Customer satisfaction while maintaining healthy margins.
Keeping abreast of the customer’s wishes and proactively meeting his needs. Make suggestions where you think you can make a difference.
Demonstrate that you understand the client’s objectives and can translate them into concrete projects.
You show that you can exceed the expectations of the customer and still remain within budget.

3. Business development
– Grow and develop existing accounts by finding new business opportunities and translating them into briefings
– Be part of pitch teams if applicable
Creating new opportunities with existing customers (eg additional projects / activities)

4. Organization
– Discuss and realize a clear input from customers in terms of expected deliveries, expected planning and debriefing to customers after coordination with the creative, creative execution and / or performance marketing team
– Transfer customer needs into well-aligned internal planning (planning tool Monday and / or excel)
– Send offers and manage the follow-up with the help of our CRM system

5. Financial and analytical reporting
– Support team with financial responsibilities such as budgeting and reconciliation
– You collect information from multiple data sources to provide actionable insights.
– Make expert use of analytical programs and tools for party insight (eg Traction Next, Synthesio, GA and social reports) Accurate alignment and budget management

Essential:
– Able to make briefings clear to customers and translate them into internal schedules.
– Independent and full-fledged discussion partners for customers at senior level, even if you can always ask for support from an experienced colleague.
– You are able to manage a project / campaign from start / brainstorm to campaign analysis, including management of timelines and budgets.
– Knowledge of KPIs and ability to properly set, monitor and analyze them.
– Strong and professional communication skills in a down-to-earth manner (both written and oral) and skills in contact with our customers (pleasant contact with internal and external stakeholders)
– You know how to stand your male / female in a dynamic environment.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Ability to convey a presentation / proposal clearly and passionately
– Sharp eye for detail and able to articulate high-level feedback clearly and translate it into actions
– Good command of the English language
– Digital marketing and social media increase your heart rate (because of enthusiasm and not because it stresses you)
– At least 2 years of experience in customer support or project management.
– Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Not necessary but would be very nice:
– Experience in a digital marketing agency
– Language skills in German, French or Italian are an advantage (in addition to Dutch and English)
– Strong project management skills

– Good written and oral communication skills, native Dutch.
– Show the right work attitude and ambition to make something of your work.

Desirable:
– Although diplomas do not make good commercial people, a certain level of (self) education is required
